1. Introduction
Welcome to Bushland Trails Co. By accessing or using our services, including our website, booking platform, and guided eco-tours, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read these terms carefully before engaging with our services. If you do not agree to all the terms and conditions of this agreement, you may not access or use our services.
2. Booking and Cancellation Policy
All tour bookings require a 30% non-refundable deposit at the time of reservation. The remaining balance is due 14 days prior to the tour date. Cancellations made more than 30 days before the scheduled tour date will receive a full refund minus the deposit. Cancellations between 14-30 days will receive a 50% refund. No refunds will be issued for cancellations made less than 14 days before the tour date.
In the event that Bushland Trails Co. needs to cancel a tour due to weather conditions, staff illness, or other unforeseen circumstances, guests will be offered the choice of rebooking for an alternative date or receiving a full refund, including the deposit.
3. Health and Safety
Participants must disclose any medical conditions, allergies, or physical limitations that might affect their ability to safely participate in tour activities. Bushland Trails Co. reserves the right to refuse service to anyone whose health condition may pose a risk to themselves or others during a tour.
All participants must follow safety instructions provided by tour guides. Bushland Trails Co. reserves the right to terminate a tour for individuals who do not comply with safety protocols, with no refund provided.
4. Liability Waiver
By booking a tour with Bushland Trails Co., participants acknowledge that outdoor activities involve inherent risks. Participants agree to assume these risks and release Bushland Trails Co., its owners, employees, and contractors from liability for injuries, property damage, or other losses that may occur during tours, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct by the company.
Parents or guardians booking on behalf of minors assume all responsibility for the minor's safety and conduct during the tour.
5. Environmental Protection
Participants agree to follow all environmental guidelines provided by tour guides, including staying on designated trails, properly disposing of waste, and not disturbing wildlife or plant life. Any participant who willfully damages the natural environment may be removed from the tour without refund and may be reported to relevant authorities.
6. Image Rights
Bushland Trails Co. may take photographs or videos during tours for promotional purposes. By participating in our tours, you grant us permission to use images in which you appear for marketing materials, social media, and our website without compensation. If you wish to opt out of this arrangement, please notify your guide at the beginning of the tour.
7. Privacy Policy
Bushland Trails Co. collects and processes personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using our services, you consent to our data practices as described in this policy.
8. Intellectual Property
All content on the Bushland Trails Co. website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of Bushland Trails Co. and protected by Australian and international copyright laws. Unauthorized use of our intellectual property is prohibited.
9. Modification of Terms
Bushland Trails Co. reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website.
